What changed

Every change to this site's data, formulas, and sources is saved as a commit. This page shows them, so the history of what changed and when is out in the open — not something you have to take on trust.

Nothing here yet

This page is built from the project's save history — nightly list updates, new number files, and data fixes. It fills in as those happen. The site was built on2026-08-27, so there is no history to show yet beyond that.

What will appear here

Master-list updates

Each night, a job compares the Agency of Education's directory against our master list and opens a request whenever they differ — never merging on its own, so every change in Vermont's school setup gets read by a person and a note explaining it. As a bonus, that record becomes a public history of district reorganization, which nobody else is publishing right now.

New number files

Each time a legal number is checked against the current law, or the Legislature changes one, a new number file is released and shows up here with its sources. The consultant advice on special education, sparsity, high-school, and career-tech weights will come as a new file rather than an edit to an old one, so you can still see both the before and the after.

Corrections

When a number here turns out to be wrong, the fix is a saved change like any other and it shows up on this page. That is on purpose. A site that quietly edits its mistakes is asking for more trust than one that leaves the record visible — and it deserves less.

See also how it works, which shows whether each number has been checked yet.
